Usain Bolt spotted at Abu Dhabi GP as he tries to give message to Lewis Hamilton

Usain Bolt was among the big names spotted at the Abu Dhabi Grand Pix.

The world-record-breaking former sprinter was caught by Sky Sports cameras ahead of Sunday’s title showdown.

The Jamaican was asked who he thought would win the contest, with Bolt saying he feels that Lewis Hamilton will emerge victorious.

He said via the broadcast: “I have Lewis winning. I think he has proven himself to be one of the best and I know he must be excited to prove himself this time because it’s always been easy and now it’s going to be a test.

Bolt was then asked if had spoken to the Mercedes racer. He responded: “No, I am going to try say a little bit to him now.

Max Verstappen and Hamilton will end the one of the greatest Formula 1 seasons in history.

Both Hamilton and Verstappen go into the final race both n 369.5 points. It’s the first time this has happened since 1950.

Hamilton has the chance to earn his eighth world title and thereby overtake Michael Schumacher as the most successful driver of all time.

Meanwhile, rival Max Verstappen – who took pole position on Saturday – has the chance to break through a new era with his first title.

Speaking at a press conference on Friday, the two reflected on what’s been an incredible year for the sport.

"Lewis has won already so many championships," he said. "But this year we have been pushing each other, certainly in some races, to the limit.

"We have been trying to get everything out of cars to the last lap and the last corner and that's very exciting, especially when it is between two different teams.

"It has been really enjoyable. For most of the time. But that's normal in a championship. Of course, in 10-20 years' time people will look back at it, even myself, and remember this year for sure."

Sitting beside him, Hamilton agreed: "Well said," he said. "I agree fully. It has been an incredible year.
