Sebastian Vettel makes Red Bull return and tells excited fans he’ll be competing
Sebastian Vettel will get behind the wheel of a Red Bull Formula One car later this year.
Vettel called time on a 15-year chapter in Formula One last season. He ended his career with two seasons at Aston Martin and six years with Ferrari before that.
But the German undoubtedly enjoyed the best years of his racing career at Red Bull Racing, where he won four consecutive championships from 2010 to 2013 and cemented his place as a legend in the sport.
The 35-year-old left fans devastated when he announced he would be retiring in order to spend more time with his family at the end of 2022. But he has now returned to the spotlight by announcing he will drive at the Nürburgring on September 9.

Speaking in a new clip, Vettel revealed he will get behind the wheel of his famous RB7 – which he drove in his second title-winning season in 2011 – for Red Bull’s Formula Nürburgring event.
The event sees both young and veteran drivers take part in a series of demo runs. And Red Bull have since confirmed Vettel will partner his former teammate Daniel Ricciardo on the track, nine years after the former's final race for the F1 team.
