Mick Schumacher given tip after "beautiful" Lewis Hamilton battle at Austrian GP
Mick Schumacher was one of the stars of the Austrian Grand Prix weekend after finishing sixth in his Haas.
The youngster’s drive saw him named the Driver of the Day, an accolade voted for by fans during the race. Schumacher was a happy man after the race, a far cry from his demeanour following Saturday’s Sprint.
The former F2 star was embroiled in an engrossing battle with Lewis Hamilton, who had started down the field following a crash during qualifying on Friday night. The seven-time world champion eventually squeezed through to take eighth spot and the final sprint race point.

Schumacher was left furious after not being allowed to overtake Haas teammate Kevin Magnussen. Schumacher felt he was quicker than his stablemate and was adamant he would have been able to pull away from both had he been allowed through by the team.
However, that issue was momentarily forgotten after the main race, with Schumacher producing an excellent drive to secure points for the second race in a row following his eighth place at the British Grand Prix.
Among those left impressed was 1997 world champion Jacques Villeneuve, who has criticised Schumacher at times this season after the German suffered a series of heavy crashes.

Writing in his column for Formule1.nl, the Canadian said: “Let me close with a compliment and a tip for Mick Schumacher. He has definitely progressed as a driver.
“I also criticised him: he crashed a lot and forced, but it's really getting better. His fight with Hamilton on Saturday was beautiful.”
As for his “tip”, Villeneuve added: “But as soon as he passes someone, he squeezes the other too much off the track. Yesterday he did that a few times, including with Fernando Alonso.
“He has to be more careful. It's the only downside because his speed in the last races is good.”
