Martin Brundle was chatted up by an 89-year-old female photographer while broadcasting live at the Monaco Grand Prix.
Brundle was discussing the third and final practice session before qualifying with Sky Sports colleagues Simon Lazenby and Jenson Button when he clapped eyes on an elderly snapper in the pitlane.
After deciding to conduct an impromptu interview with the woman, she asked him: “What is your first name?” After they informed each other who they were, the woman, called Claudia, told Brundle: “I admire you and everything that you’re doing.”

Brundle then asked how long she had been taking photographs at Monaco for, to which she replied: “Since I was 15 years ago. I hate to tell you, I’m already hitting 89. I’m not giving up.”
Claudia then told Brundle that her favourite photograph was of Prince Albert, “when he became a sovereign”. She then turned and saluted to the camera.

As Brundle wrapped up the interview, the pair shook hands, with Claudia adding: “Good luck for your team.”
She then hilariously whispered into his ear, “I need your card”, which clearly surprised the veteran broadcaster and ex-F1 racer. That provoked laughter from Button and Lazenby, with a slightly embarrassed-looking Brundle saying, “Good stuff.”
The interview was loved by viewers, with one quipping: “Brundle getting chatted up there. Unwise, but not illegal!”
“He better give her his card,” declared another. One fan told Brundle: “Grab your coat, you have pulled.”
A fourth joked: "Martin always gives us the best content." A fifth said: "Perfect opportunity to do a piece on her, she must have some amazing stories and pictures!"
Another fan agreed: "I’d love to see a more in-depth interview with her – I bet she’s got some incredible stories to share!"
