Lewis Hamilton shows off bulked-up six-pack as he prepares for new F1 season

Lewis Hamilton proudly flaunted his popping pectorals and a six-pack in a bulky mirror selfie on social media.

The Mercedes ace endured a very disappointing F1 campaign last season, finishing in a lowly sixth place, while fierce rival Max Verstappen retained his title with ease. Hamilton trailed the Red Bull ace by a staggering 214 points at the end of the season when the season was brought to a close.

However, he already looks to be in peak condition heading into the 2023 season which begins at the start of March.

Hamilton uploaded a mirror selfie to his 31.1million followers on Instagram. He looks trimmer, determined, and more than ready to challenge for the record eighth F1 title he is so desperately craving.

"I'd like to think that we're going to be the ones that are competing with (Red Bull) and being able to beat them again,” Hamilton said in the buildup to the new campaign. “I do believe that, for sure.

“But I really hope that Ferrari are strong in the following years. They've definitely had a difficult year, but there's been some strong signs, obviously, that you've seen this year, which has been nice to see.

“And it's been nice to see Ferrari doing well again. I hope that it's more than a two-way battle next year.

“I hope there's at least three of us. If not, surprisingly, maybe more. Like, why can't McLaren be there? We'll see. Or even Alpine have been doing amazing. So, we'll see."

Hamilton did not manage to win a single race last year and even finished two places behind Mercedes partner and fellow Brit George Russell, who secured a fourth place finish. While Hamilton will definitely need a lot more than a decent six pack to topple Verstappen and Red Bull, he is certainly heading in the right direction.
