Lewis Hamilton has revealed he is no longer concerned about his health after experiencing dizziness after the dramatic Hungarian Grand Prix. After climbing from the back to finish a very respectable P3, the Brit was seen swaying from side to side on the podium while Esteban Ocon and Sebastian Vettel celebrated.
The German was later disqualified, allowing the visibly troubled Hamilton to claim second-place in the official classification.
F1 returns from its four-week summer break this weekend, with drivers set to compete in the Belgian Grand Prix.
Hamilton is keen to ensure his lead atop the Drivers’ Championship remains after the trip to Spa-Francorchamps.
“I’ve spent time over this period of time just trying to make sure I’m in the best shape,” Hamilton told reporters.

“I do feel like I’m in better shape moving into the second half of the season and it’s not a concern for me.
“In the world, we are still in this pandemic, and I still stress the importance of people staying safe. Naturally, as you move around, you’re seeing people relaxing more and more, but the virus is still around.
“We’ll continue to be in our bubble and I will continue to be focused on my health and making sure that I continue to get stronger through the rest of the year.”
After Max Verstappen took control of the title race earlier in the season, he currently finds himself eight points behind Hamilton while Red Bull trail Mercedes by 12 points in the Constructors’ Championship.

The Dutchman dramatically crashed out of the British Grand Prix and finished ninth at the Hungaroring, opening the door for Hamilton to regain control of the championship battle.
Hamilton admitted his team had to overcome obstacles and hardships earlier in the season, and he welcomed the summer break in order to get required rest.
However, the seven-time world champion is ready to get back behind the wheel in his Mercedes.
“The break was definitely much needed, but it felt too long at the end,” the 36-year-old added.
“I think I was definitely excited to get back to work and just miss working with the team and miss being in the car.
“I was definitely very keen quite early on just to get back. It seemed a little bit prolonged, but having that time is really precious naturally.
“[You] just try to remain grateful for the spare time that you do have, and trying to use it to the best of my ability. Now we’re back, which is great.”
