Lando Norris tells Ted Kravitz ‘you just try driving’ during shirty exchange
After being snubbed by Max Verstappen, Sky Sports reporter Ted Kravitz appeared to upset another F1 driver following the Mexican Grand Prix.
Verstappen and the rest of his Red Bull team decided to duck interviews with the broadcaster’s UK, German and Italian channels following comments made by Kravitz following the United States Grand Prix the previous weekend.
In his Notebook show after the race, won by Verstappen, Kravitz referred to Lewis Hamilton being “robbed” by the manner of his defeat to the Dutchman at last year’s title-deciding Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

That was the final straw for Verstappen and Red Bull, who say they have become increasingly upset by Sky Sports’ perceived lack of impartiality.
Amid the Red Bull boycott, Kravitz carried on as normal, grilling drivers who were prepared to be interviewed after the race, one being Verstappen’s great mate, Lando Norris.
The McLaren driver came home a ninth having qualified eighth and unusually finished behind resurgent teammate Daniel Ricciardo, who was voted Driver of the Day after finishing seventh.

Norris made a poor getaway, dropping to 10th on the first lap. Kravitz picked up on his poor start in the interview, which didn’t go down well with Norris.
“It’s only two positions,” said the Englishman with Kravitz replying: “That’s not optimal.”
Norris then shot back: “You should try driving, mate. I just lost one off the line and one around the corners, it’s as simple as that. Nothing too bad happen.
“No, other than that we did a good job. Maybe we covered Yuki [Tsunoda] a bit too quickly on the hard tyre. Apart from that, the strategy was reasonable. Daniel did a good job.”
