F1 star shows bare bottom in Instagram snap as team comment on ‘cracking shot’
Formula One star Valtteri Bottas left fans in stitches following his latest post on Instagram.
The 33-year-old Finnish racing driver has suffered a miserable start to the F1 season and currently sits in 15th in the drivers' standings. It hasn’t been a happy campaign so far for his team Alfa Romeo who currently find themselves 7th in the constructor’s standings with just nine points all season.
But Bottas finished in the points last time out in Canada for the first time since Bahrain in March, which was the opening race of the season. The Finn celebrated his P10 finish last time out by skinny dipping back in his homeland, and not for the first time posted a picture of his bare bum on Instagram.
Bottas’ former team Mercedes were quick to comment on the post that has more than 500k likes, saying: “Cracking shot, VB.” Whilst Alfa Romeo teammate Guanyu Zhou commented a face palm emoji.

But a number of his 3.7m followers on Instagram were less than impressed, with one comment saying: “Valtteri please stop my mom uses this app.”
A second comment on the post read: “The first post I encountered the moment I opened insta.”

But other fans found the lighter side of Bottas yet again posting his backside, saying: “Should change your name to Valtteri Buttas,” whilst others dubbed his “Bottass”.
Bottas previously surprised seven-time world champ and former Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton with a framed picture of another naked shot of him skinny dipping, leading another fan to comment: “Lewis be waiting for that frame. Typical Valtteri!”
The Finn will be hoping that his P10 finish last time out and rediscovered freedom in public can be the catalyst to once again climb back into the points on a regular basis.
Up next on the F1 calendar is Austria before heading to Silverstone to complete the double header at the beginning of July.
