F1 star dubbed ‘real hero’ after joining aid efforts at flood-hit Emilia Romagna
F1 star Yuki Tsunoda has been dubbed a "real hero" as he lent his manpower to try and clean up Italian floods.
The Italian region of Emilia-Romagna is facing one of the worst disasters in recent memory as heavy rain has led to more than 20 rivers bursting their banks. The resulting floods have killed 13 people, while 13,000 more have been displaced from their homes.
And images have emerged online of Tsunoda with a shovel in Faenza, helping clean up the flood. Fans called Tsunoda a "real hero" as he aided the Italians who had been affected by the flooding.

The F1 circus was due in the region over the weekend, but after the paddock was flooded the FIA had no choice but to postpone the race, which is held at Imola.
Announcing the cancellation, an F1 statement read: "The Formula 1 community wants to send its thoughts to the people and communities affected by the recent events in the Emilia-Romagna region.
"We also want to pay tribute to the work of the emergency services who are doing everything they can to help those in need. Following discussions… the decision has been taken not to proceed with the Grand Prix weekend in Imola.

"The decision has been taken because it is not possible to safely hold the event for our fans, the teams and our personnel and it is the right and responsible thing to do given the situation faced by the towns and cities in the region.
"It would not be right to put further pressure on the local authorities and emergency services at this difficult time."
A further announcement was made by the FIA, about the floods on Friday: announcing F1 would make an immediate €1million (£870,000) donation to the Emilia-Romagna Region's Agency for Territorial Safety and Civil Protection.
