Aussie F1 star Daniel Ricciardo has been spotted partying in Las Vegas alongside superstar dance music duo The Chainsmokers just days before the Australian GP – and fans are overjoyed to see him finally having fun after he endured a horror run with McLaren.
Ricciardo, 33, will watch on from the sidelines this year after being dumped by the British team for upstart Oscar Piastri following a poor 2022 campaign that led many to question his future in the sport.
The fan favourite has since re-joined Red Bull – where he won seven grands prix – as their third driver, meaning his main responsibilities will include testing, commercial activity and simulator work.
After a dismal couple of years at McLaren where the Aussie admitted he got into a cycle of negativity, Ricciardo seems to be loving life now that there’s far less pressure on him.
The ‘Honey Badger’ proved just how relaxed he is recently when he was spotted at Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas partying with the Chainsmokers.

The Perth-born star is still one of the most popular F1 drivers on the planet and fans were delighted to see him smiling.
‘Living his best life, as he should,’ Tweeted a fan.
‘Daniel and the chainsmokers ahhh life is good!!!’ said another.
‘THE SMILE??? THE RINGS??? THE SUNGLASSES??? I’M OBSESSED,’ commented a third.
Ricciardo recently opened up about his 2023 ambitions in a LinkedIn post.
‘This is the first year in as long as I can remember that my goals aren’t going to be 100% about racing and competing,’ he wrote.
‘I’m back in an environment and ultimately a family that I have a lot of good memories with, and it feels really good to be back there.
‘But it’s not about me this year, it’s about the wider team and trying to contribute and help them where I can.

The Perth-born star has expressed his desire to spend more time in America
‘Jumping into the simulator, learning their car and helping shape the development are all things I’m focused on doing.
‘In turn that will develop my abilities, my confidence and my enjoyment behind the wheel.’
The 33-year-old has also long expressed his desire to spend more time in the USA after growing very fond of the country in recent years.
‘When I eventually stop racing and get a bit of time, I want to road trip around America,’ he told host of the Beyond The Grid podcast Tom Clarkson.
‘I think also, what a 110 [100cc motorbike] going across America would symbolise is slowing down and just taking everything in.
‘We’re always thinking about getting somewhere as quick as we can, getting the job done, getting out, and it’s like, no, I want to soak everything in, and just be.’
Ricciardo has confirmed he will be making an appearance at his home grand prix beginning this week – but mainly for meet and greets around the track.
