F1 hero Kimi Raikkonen has greater net worth than skateboarding legend Tony Hawk
Finnish racing driver Kimi Raikkonen has a vaster wealth than Tony Hawk, despite the skater being a household name.
Indeed, the world’s most prolific and well-known skater has a net worth less than that of the former Formula One driver.
Hawk has a net worth of some £100million, but Raikkonen has a mouth-watering £186million to his name.
Raikkonen has recently spoken out about his retirement plans. The Scandinavian has been announced as Team Principal for the Kawasaki Racing Team.
Indeed, the 2007 champion, who earned 349 starts during his illustrious career, retired in 2021 and has decided to get involved with elite motocross racing along with former rider Antti Pyrhonen.
“It’s no secret that, for me, one of my great passions in life for many years has been motocross,” said Raikkonen via formula1.com
“But this team is not what you might call a hobby; it’s very serious, very focused and we aspire to be the best we possibly can.
“Now I have retired from racing I will be able to spend more time on this project; not on the daily issues but more from a strategic point of view using my experience of how teams work and what creates success on the world stage.”
Hawk, meanwhile, announced that he will be undertaking a tour of the UK and Ireland this year.
The skateboarding legend Tony Hawk will go host events in which he discusses his success in the sport and also as an entrepreneur.
