Formula One fans have been given a first glimpse at the latest instalment of Netflix’s hit docu-series Drive to Survive ahead of its highly-anticipated March 11 release.
The hugely-popular behind-the-scenes show returns for a fourth season next month, and details the controversial 2021 season, which ended with Max Verstappen snatching the title from Lewis Hamilton on the final lap of the final race in Abu Dhabi.
With the dust still not fully settled from the drama of the season finale, Netflix are set to provide fans with a never-before-seen look at the last race, as well as plenty of other flash-points in one of the most dramatic years of racing ever.

The trailer hints at plenty of behind-the-scenes access, with the likes of Lando Norris, Daniel Ricciardo and Hamilton all appearing in the short clip.
In the trailer, Hamilton refers to the sport as ‘constant warfare’, while his new Mercedes team-mate George Russell – then at Williams – calls F1 ‘cut-throat’.
There are also cameo appearances from Red Bull chief Christian Horner and his Mercedes counterpart Toto Wolff, with their on-going battle set to be one of the most intriguing parts of the series.

The 10-part season will be released on March 11, a week before the 2022 season gets underway in Bahrain.
The Drive to Survive series is executive-produced by Academy-Award winner James Gay-Rees, the man behind Amy and Senna, as well as Paul Martin – famous for his Diego Maradona documentary.
The first three series’ of the show were smash-hits around the world, and have contributed to increasing F1’s following globally.
