Charles Leclerc has pleaded with fans to stop gathering outside his place of residence after his home address was recently leaked to the public.
The Ferrari man says he has been inundated with waves of optimistic supporters gathering outside his apartment hoping to snap a picture of grab an autograph from the Monegasque driver.
Leclerc has said that he is happy to stop for photos in the street or at the track, but insists there is ‘a boundary that should not be crossed’ with regard to his home life.
The F1 driver released a brief statement on his Instagram story begging hopeful fans to stop ringing the bell to his apartment.
The post read: ‘For the past few months, my home address has somehow become public, leading to people gathering beneath my apartment, ringing my bell, and asking for pictures and autographs.

Life on the track has not been easy for Leclerc in 2023 after crashing out of two races so far
‘While I’m always happy to be there for you and I truly appreciate your support, please respect my privacy and refrain from coming to my house.
‘I’ll make sure to stop for everyone when you see me on the streets or at the track, but I won’t be coming downstairs if you visit my home.
‘Your support, both in person and on social media, means the world to me, but there is a boundary that should not be crossed.’
The 25-year-old previously had his £265,000 Richard Mille watch stolen while signing autographs for fans in Tuscany a few days before the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in 2022.
Police in Italy have since made two arrests in connection with the robbery after a raid on the property belonging to one of the suspects.
Leclerc has had a tough start to the 2023 F1 season having crashed out of two of the three races so far this year.
Leclerc currently occupies 10th place in the drivers’ championship while Ferrari sit in 4th place in the constructors’.
