Australian GP was interrupted by naked streaker who whipped todger out on track
Security failings at the Australian Grand Prix were laid bare by one F1 fan on Sunday – quite literally!
Amid a chaotic finish in Melbourne, which saw Max Verstappen take the chequered flag behind an FIA safety car, a number of fans breached the barriers to make it onto the live track. The incident was reported over radio by Lewis Hamilton, prompting red flag and orders for all cars to return to the pits.
But that wasn't so easy for Haas man Nico Hulkenberg, who had to ditch his car on the grass following an electrical failure. It left the vehicle within touching distance of some fans, and the World Motor Sport Council inevitably failed to see the funny side and have since summoned race organisers.

But there was one man who left fellow fans and spectators chuckling. Opting to strip naked once the race had actually finished, he soon made it onto the track and triumphantly paraded his crown jewels while he being chased down by officials.
He managed to run down the straight and take a corner before he was caught and hauled down, before promptly being led away to be read the riot act. Video footage of the incident soon went viral online, leaving F1 lovers conflicted.
"He took that chicane like a pro!" tweeted @FMXRP1. Meanwhile, @justin17100398 poked fun at the incident with: "Pit penalty due to loose object flapping about."

Others weren't so impressed though, with @Plucky16221611 saying: "What is this? The 1970s?" @scottha39583788 suggested a punishment, posting: "One word .. Taser."
But it's the organisers who could be sweating over potential punishments. They have been found in breach of an article in the FIA’s International Sporting Code, which covers "any unsafe act or failure to take reasonable measures, thus resulting in an unsafe situation."
It's not the first time a Grand Prix has been plagued by a streaker though. Back in 1998, Michael Schumacher's bid to win was gatecrashed by a man who sped onto the track starkers whilst carrying a flag.
