Thursday’s start of the 2021 NFL Draft will certainly alter the course of many NFL franchises, but most team’s starters are found in the middle rounds, meaning don’t sleep on the Day 2’s Round 2 and 3 to provide some long-term pieces for your favorite squad.
There’s plenty of talent left to go around in Day 2 with several intriguing prospects left over from Round 1 who couldn’t make it in. That’s no problem: plenty of teams will benefit from Day 2 selections this year and in the future.
Here’s what you need to know about Day 2 of the 2021 NFL Draft.
What time does the NFL Draft start today?
Rounds 2 and 3 of the 2021 NFL Draft get underway tonight at 7 p.m. ET, an hour earlier than Thursday’s start time.
Round 2 will only allow teams seven minutes to make a selection, with the third round resulting in just five minutes of time for teams to make a selection. With two rounds shoved into one, expect the night to end around midnight.
What channel is the NFL Draft on today?
All three days and seven rounds of the 2021 NFL Draft will be broadcast on ABC, ESPN and NFL Network. For viewers who want a Spanish-language alternative, ESPN Deportes will be carrying the Spanish broadcast of the event.

ABC, ESPN and NFL Network will be carrying all three days of the NFL Draft.
NFL Network’s broadcast group features Rich Eisen, Daniel Jeremiah, Charles Davis and David Shaw at the desk. ESPN counters with Mike Greenberg, Louis Riddick, Mel Kiper, Booger McFarland, Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter. Suzy Kolber will also be on set.
Rece Davis and college football analysts Desmond Howard and Kirk Herbstreit will bring the ABC broadcast on all three days. Davis hosts an ESPN/ABC simulcast on Day 3.
NFL Draft live stream
For cord cutters, the 2021 NFL Draft can be caught on a number of streaming services including fuboTV, Hulu+ Live TV, YouTube TV and AT&T TV. Each streaming service carries one of NFL Network, ESPN or ABC.
Computers, tablets, video game consoles and some smart TVs also carry various streaming apps to catch the draft across one of the three networks which will be carrying the whole event.
