What channel is Steelers vs. Chargers on today? Schedule, time for Sunday Night Football in Week 11
The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Los Angeles Chargers are both licking their wounds a bit after NFC North bouts last week. The Chargers enter 5-4 after a loss to the Vikings, whereas the Steelers are now 5-3-1 after tying with the Detroit Lions. Ben Roethlisberger was a late scratch in the latter game, and Mason Rudolph struggled in some harsh Pittsburgh weather against the Lions in a game that neither team seemed to want to win.
Since his coming out party as an elite quarterback against the Browns, Justin Herbert has had ups and downs for Los Angeles. His best game since was two weeks ago against the Eagles, in which he threw for 356 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. That game, however, is the Chargers’ one win since the Browns game. The Chargers are just 1-3 since, and they’re failing to capitalize on an AFC West that struggled in recent weeks. Now the Chiefs are hitting their stride, and if they pick up momentum they’ll be a tough team to beat down the stretch.
The AFC North is about as tightly knotted as the AFC West. The Ravens fell to 6-3 on the season in a baffling loss to the Dolphins on Thursday Night Football, while the Browns found themselves roundly thumped by the New England Patriots after a big win against the Bengals. The Bengals were off last week, as every team in the division continues to struggle to pull away and make up some ground on the next.
Roethlisberger cleared COVID protocol on Friday and traveled to Los Angeles separate from his teammates. He is expected to start the game.
