What channel is Rams vs. Titans on today? Schedule, time for ‘Sunday Night Football’ in Week 9
The Tennessee Titans and the Los Angeles Rams boast two of the best records in football, with the Titans sitting at 6-2 and the Rams sitting 7-1. Both teams are looking to make a deep run this season, but the Titans suffered a major blow in a big win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday by losing superstar running back Derrick Henry for at least the regular season. The Rams, meanwhile, have been rolling barring a hiccup against the Cardinals, which has left them second in the NFC West heading into Week 9.
The Rams have proven extremely difficult to figure out, but there’s no denying what the Titans have done in recent weeks. They were able to shut down the Chiefs and their potent offense, and the week before that they eked out a win over the potent Buffalo Bills. Recently they’ve been doing just enough to win, and they’ll now have to do that without their best player against the Rams.
This game could also mark the Titans debut of Adrian Peterson, although he’ll have to wrestle carries away from Jeremy McNichols. It appears the Titans are looking to add as many bodies to the backfield as possible, but it’s abundantly clear this is to be Ryan Tannehill’s offense moving forward.
The Rams have no such problem. They are Matthew Stafford’s team, although it’s the defense featuring a new face Sunday. Von Miller will be suiting up for the Rams for the first time, after being acquired from the Broncos. This is a big “old faces in new places” game, and it being a primetime matchup only adds to the intrigue.
A not-so-old face in a familiar place is receiving leader Cooper Kupp, who has emerged as Stafford’s favorite threat and just won NFC Offensive Player of the Month honors for October. Kupp has 63 catches for 924 yards, putting him second behind Tyreek Hill in receptions and first in the league in yardage.
