What channel is Packers vs. Seahawks on today? Time, TV schedule for NFL Week 10 game

For two teams who don’t share a division, the Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers share a lot of history. As two of the most prominent teams in the NFC during the 2010s, most of their matchups became marquee, and Sunday is shaping up to be no exception.

The biggest story looming over this game is the quarterback matchup. Russell Wilson appears to be slated to return, based on a very enthusiastic statement from his doctor, and it looks like Aaron Rodgers is ready to put last week behind him as well after missing a game due to COVID-19. This means that we should see both of these offenses back in their element, which could make for a very fun Sunday evening matchup.

For the Packers, this game will need to be a cleanser after last week’s disastrous outing against the Kansas City Chiefs, a 13-7 loss. What should have been a barnburner turned out to be an absolute slog, with Matt LaFleur seemingly leaving Jordan Love directionless. The bright spot for the Packers is their defense, which has been pleasantly surprising and is currently fifth in the NFL in yards allowed per game. It’s sixth in the league in points allowed, and will have to be at its best to deal with Wilson’s return and the Seahawks’ backyard style offense. At 7-2, the Packers could solidify their foothold in the NFC standings and keep pace with the Cardinals with a win.

The Seahawks defense has not been quite so stout. It’s currently giving up 401 yards per game, second most in the league ahead of the New York Jets. It’s an equal opportunity defense as well — 21st against the pass and 21st against the run — so teams can gameplan how they want to attack with relative impunity. Once the calling card of the Seahawks, the defense this year looks like a shell of itself. In addition to Wilson missing time, it’s what has the Seahawks at 3-5 and on the outside looking in of the NFC Wild Card race, although a win over the Packers would be a huge step in the right direction.
