Week 8 Fantasy Football Flex Rankings for standard, superflex, 2-QB leagues

We’re nearing the halfway point of the NFL season, and with six teams returning from bye, we get numerous key players back for our Week 8 fantasy two-QB/superflex rankings. With seven weeks of data to look at, the pecking order and positional breakdowns for both standard flex and superflex are becoming more clear, though matchups, health, and trends keep the players fluid week-to-week.

That said, we know QBs have the higher floors and ceilings when you’re deciding between guys lower in the rankings. Fringe starter Tua Tagovailoa was the No.1 player in all of fantasy football last week, and there are a ton of QBs who can accomplish that feat — especially in standard leagues. You should almost always roll with QBs at the superflex spot, even if they are viewed as awful in real-life football. Someone like a Geno Smith or Justin Fields still has a safer floor and higher ceiling than a WR3 like Marquez Callaway or flex-back like Javonte Williams.

As always, we have our standard flex rankings, too, which, unlike positional rankings, are most important from the middle to the end. We have plenty of WRs toward the bottom of the list because they have the higher ceilings, but if you’re looking for a higher floor, at least in standard leagues, you should consider an RB who gets more guaranteed touches.
