Tom Brady has hilarious reaction to facing the Patriots in Week 4 of the 2021 NFL season
Tom Brady’s new friends might be cooler than his old friends.
Brady and the Buccaneers travel up to Foxborough in Week 4 to take on Bill Belichick and the Patriots, with whom Brady has, well, an extensive history. The owner of six New England Super Bowl rings will have an opportunity to down Belichick and the Pats for the first time in his NFL career.
While the news of the forthcoming matchup sent NFL fans into a tizzy, Brady took to Twitter to tweet out a simple and hilarious reaction to his impending return to Foxborough.
“It’s like when your high school friends meet your college friends,” Brady tweets, with a gritted teeth emoji.
Brady seems to be having some fun with his “college friends.” After securing a Super Bowl 55 win over the Chiefs, the Bucs’ boat parade resulted in the veteran quarterback seeming like he just left a frat party instead.
Brady’s return to Foxborough will make for his first opportunity — and perhaps one of his last — for the star quarterback to secure a win against all 32 teams in the NFL. The longtime Patriots quarterback made his debut with the Buccaneers in 2020, and their paths didn’t cross New England’s last season.
Brady’s activity on Twitter and other social media over recent months has caught the eye of many NFL fans who have noticed a marked shift in his persona (or his social media team) since being away from the Patriots.
But Belichick wouldn’t know about any of that. He doesn’t use InstaChat or SnapFace or whatever.
