College football bowl projections for Week 11: Cincinnati’s playoff path still open
There are four weeks left until the College Football Playoff and New Year’s Day Six pairings are revealed.
A total of 10 teams appear to be in contention for those CFP spots ahead of the second set of rankings on Tuesday. How do those teams fit in our latest bowl projections?
Right now we still have Georgia beating Alabama in the SEC championship game. Ohio State will hold off one-loss teams Michigan State and Michigan. Oklahoma will knock off Oklahoma State.

So Georgia, Ohio State and Oklahoma are in the CFP. That leaves Oregon, Cincinnati and Notre Dame fighting for the last spot. We’re still thinking the Ducks takes a second loss and the Bearcats slip in with the help of that victory against the Irish.
This year’s bowl season includes 42 games between FBS teams. The College Football Playoff championship game is Jan. 10 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The semifinals are Dec. 31 at the Capital One Orange Bowl and Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic.
