The Buccaneers were planning to re-sign Brown once his last-standing legal issue was settled, which it was on April 21.

Antonio Brown contract details
Per reports, Brown’s deal is worth up to $6.25 million and features $3.1 million fully guaranteed, with a $2 million signing bonus, a relatively low-cost move for a still solid receiver in Brown.
Brown’s signing is the latest in a flurry of offseason moves for GM Jason Licht and the Bucs. The team re-signed all of its starting corps from the 2020 season, with Brown the cherry on top.
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports that head coach Bruce Arians and quarterback Tom Brady have kept Brown on the straight-and-narrow despite Brown’s various run-ins with the law in previous seasons.
One of Brown’s last-standing legal issues, a civil suit, was settled last week.
In eight games with the Bucs last year, Brown caught passes for 483 yards and four touchdowns.
