Wimbledon star Elina Svitolina gets Harry Styles response after missing show

Harry Styles has invited Wimbledon star Elina Svitolina to his tour after she was forced to give away her tickets.

The Ukrainian star has made it all the way to the quarter-finals of the singles draw at the All England Club having planned to see the former One Directioner in action had she been eliminated.

The former world No.3, who took a break from the sport to have her first child with fellow tennis star Gael Monfils last year, then sent out a message.

Svitolina wrote on Instagram: "Hey guys, I was supposed to go to see my fav @harrystyles concert in Vienna tomorrow…but Wimbledon changed my plans.

In a positive update to her future plans, Svitolina got a reply from the artist before her last eight contest against top ranked Iga Swiatek

Harry replied on Instagram: "Congratulations! We have four shows to go, you’re welcome at any of them. Good luck with the rest of the tournament. H."

Harry's Love on Tour series of concerts kicked off back in September of 2021, ending on July 22 after four more shows.

The 29-year-old will be in Barcelona on July 12 and Madrid on July 14, before heading to Portugal on July 18 and ending in Italy before taking a break from music.

Should Svitolina make it to the final on Saturday July 15, shell will still be able to get to either of the last two events.

Svitolina, 28, has made headlines throughout the tournament by beating Venus Williams, Elise Mertens, Sofia Kenin and most recently Victoria Azarenka.

The proud Ukrainian has also refused to shake hands with either Russian or Belarusian players, including Azarenka.

Azarenka then bashed her fists together above her head after being jeered by the crowd. She later said: "The bigger you guys make it, the longer it’ll be a conversation."
