Tom Daley shows off huge box of condoms handed to athletes at Tokyo Olympics
Tom Daley has shown off his massive box of condoms that he has received whilst being in Tokyo for the 2020 Olympic games.
The Olympic village has been a hotbed for sex, and organisers have developed a tradition of handing out condoms to athletes in the village.
However, this year Olympians were asked to abstain from sex with other athletes to help prevent the spread of Covid.
But condoms have still be handed out, and it has led to some inventive uses for the souvenirs.
And British diver Daley has shown off his box of condoms in a TikTok video.
The TikTok was posted by Noah Williams who, like Daley, is representing Team GB during the 10m diving event.
However, Williams was unable to secure a spot in the final when he fell short in the semi-finals.
The video shows the pair in the room at the Olympic village as they unbox their Olympic condoms.
The front of the large cardboard box contains a note about why condoms are distributed – to combat STIs such as HIV/AIDS and to help prevent the spread of COVID.
Inside the box sat hundreds of condoms, which backs up the IOC's claims to distribute 160,000 during the course of the games.
