Super Bowl winner Tom Brady, 43, vows to return after clinching seventh ring

Tom Brady insists he will return next season after winning a record seventh Super Bowl.

Brady led from the front as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9.

Brady only joined the Bucs last year after shining with the New England Patriots and continued his success in Florida.

Brady will turn 44 before the next NFL season gets underway, and first wants to enjoy the celebrations.

He said: ”How 'bout that? I'm so proud of all these guys out here, everything we dealt with this year.

"We had a rough month in November but BA [Chiefs coach Bruce Arians] had all the confidence in us.

"The team had a lot of confidence. We came together at the right time. I think we knew this was going to happen guys, didn't we? We ended up playing our best game of the year.

"I'm not making any comparisons [with my Patriots wins]. Being down here and experiencing it with this group of guys, every year, is amazing.

"This team is world champions forever. You can't take it away from us. So thank you guys, thank you all."

And asked if there's more to come from him on the football field, Brady added without hesitation: "Yeah. We're coming back. You already know that."

Brady was also named Super Bowl MVP, having completed 21 of 29 passes for 201 yards, three touchdowns and a passer rating over 125.

He got the better of Patrick Mahomes with Kansas City Chiefs unable to score a touchdown at all.
