Shane Warne posted two haunting final messages on social media from his Thailand villa before passing away from a suspected heart-attack.

Reports of the Australian cricket legend’s death shocked the sporting world on Friday when it was confirmed that he had tragically died, aged just 52.

The iconic leg-spinner’s death came as a gut-wrenching blow to all cricket fans and was especially spine-chilling given he had been active on social media just hours before.

Warne had initially taken to Instagram to post a picture of a stunning night-time view from his rented luxury villa on the Thai island of Koh Samui.

His caption read: “Goodnight from @samujanvillas Koh Samui,” alongside a love heart.

Warne’s final post came ten hours later in an emotional tribute following the death of iconic Australian wicket-keeper Rod Marsh.

Marsh passed away in Adelaide, Australia, on Friday morning aged 74, and Warne was one of the many to write him a farewell.

No sooner had fans finished replying to Warne over his tribute than they were made aware of his own devastating passing.
