One-armed MMA star beats two opponents in same fight sparking one out in seconds
A one-armed fighter taking on two people and knocking one of them out within seconds – all normal in the mad world of pop-MMA.
As the second season of the Epic Fighting Championship got underway, fans were treated to the sight of Alexander Karapetyan, who fights without a full left-arm, taking on two opponents. But it didn't seem to deter him.
In the same week that one pop-MMA contest was marred by an ugly post-bout brawl, which included a WWE style suplex, Karapetyan brutally KO'd one of his foe's within seconds. Some brutal head kicks did the trick for him and things soon reverted to one-on-one.
The bout did then go the distance, with Krapetyan adjudged the winner on points. Highlights were posted on Twitter by @Matysek88, who covers the phenomenon of pop-MMA, and provoked a mixed reaction from fans.
"What on earth have I just watched?" asked @cjt00___, while @JFoMMATalk added: "MMA never fails to amaze me." Not everyone was cynical about what transpired though.
Spaniard @N_H_MMA gushed: "It's the perfect show for me. If someone decides to start a promoter like this in Spain, they can count on me at the commentators' table. I do it for free, everything is to see the excellence of contact sports up close."

In February, a contest between porn star Alexandra Piskun and controversial television personality Gogen Solntsen ended with the latter having his nose broken. During the clash, Piskun also had her top ripped off.
Weeks beforehand, another porn star in Alexander Pistoletov had taken on blogger Sasha Mamaha. That fight became the subject of a delay after a fan ran into the octagon from the crowd, sparking unsavoury scenes with security.
