NBA’s Steph Curry used mega net worth for £25m mansion next to WhatsApp founder
NBA Finals MVP Steph Curry has a mega net worth which helped him buy a £25million mansion next to the founder of social media platform WhatsApp.
Curry, 34, has amassed an enormous wealth thanks to his exploits on the court which have seen him become one of the sport's all-time greats. According to Celebrity Net Worth, his fortune stands at $160m, or £130m.
So not only is he one half of the Splash Brothers with team-mate Klay Thompson, but he also had plenty of cash to splash on his lavish property in Atherton, California, which cost him a reported $31m (£25.2m) in 2019.
The three-tiered mansion is well hidden, surrounded by trees and located at the end of a cul-de-sac in a gated area. Curry has maintained a high level of privacy, meaning little is known about it.
Outside there's a firepit, swimming pool and poolside cabana, with a small guesthouse also complimenting the main structure. Two doors down from the 1.2-arce lot is the $80m (£65m) estate of former WhatsApp CEO Jan Koum.
The Bay Area community is filled with prominent figures and is the wealthiest post code in America – but Curry and his wife Ayesha took the record for the largest real estate purchase in Atherton.
