Sports fans have claimed that Logan Paul 'saved Rey Mysterio's life' as the boxing star crossed over to WWE over the weekend.
Paul, who is under contract with the proffesional wrestling company, was squaring off with the WWE legend for the United States Championship at Crown Jewel. And at one point in the bout, Mysterio attempted a moonsault off the ring ropes.
However, Mysterio landed a few inches away from his rival – and he would have crashed head first on the mat if it wasn't for Paul's quick thinking. Paul managed to catch the Lucha Libre star and seamless reverse the move into a powerslam – making it all look part of the show.

"No one at this stage should have the ring awareness he does. He quite literally saved Rey Mysterio from a serious injury here. Just great stuff," one fan said. While a second responded: "Some pro wrestlers that have been trained for years don’t have this awareness yet!"
"Not a fan of Logan, but can this man put on a show in the ring. IQ is incredible for saving Rey," a third replied. And another added: "Rey owes Logan big time for that. Not a lot of people could dip that low that quick to save someone!"

Paul was crowned as the new United States Champion in Saudi Arabia, after he had initially called out the WWE icon following his victory against Dillon Danis.
The Maverick, 28, said: "I want that US title. Rey Mysterio, I already beat you once brother and I'm coming for that US Championship. Let's go!" And he followed up on his word – winning the title in his eighth match with the company.
