The Basketball Hall of Fame will officially welcome 16 new members this weekend. The class of 2021 — spearheaded by Bill Russell (elected as a coach), Paul Pierce, Chris Bosh and Lauren Jackson, among others — will be inducted on Saturday as part of a weekend celebration at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass.
This is the second Hall of Fame induction of the year. The class of 2020, which included Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett, was inducted back in May after COVID delayed their induction ceremony by a year.

When is the Basketball Hall of Fame induction ceremony?
The Hall of Fame festivities actually begin on Friday with an autograph session, news conferences and awards gala. Saturday’s events tip off at 4 p.m. ET with a VIP reception followed by a red carpet event starting at 6 p.m. ET. The actual induction ceremony, which includes all speeches, begins at 7 p.m. ET.
What channel is the Basketball Hall of Fame induction on?
NBA TV will broadcast both the ceremony itself on Saturday along with the news conferences on Friday, which begin at 2 p.m. ET. You can also stream the event via fuboTV, which comes with a seven-day free trial.

Who will present each Hall of Fame candidate for enshrinement?
As is customary, a previous inductee to the Hall of Fame will present each new candidate for enshrinement. After presenting Kobe Bryant earlier this year during the ceremony for the Class of 2020, Michael Jordan will be presenting again, this time for former Bulls teammate Toni Kukoc. Charles Barkley is co-presenting for three different incoming members: Bill Russell, Jay Wright and Cotton Fitzsimmons.
Each inductee will also give a speech upon their enshrinement. The presenters do not give speeches.
