Eddie Hall makes wrestling debut as the Beast storms rumble event in hometown
Eddie Hall has made his long-awaited wrestling debut in his hometown of Stoke On Trent having once rejected a bumper contract offer from WWE.
Hall, who has crowned the World's Strongest Man back in 2017, has since moved into acting and boxing with his fight against Thor Bjornsson blocking him from joining the biggest wrestling promotion on the planet in 2018.
The 35-year-old was a surprise entrant into Megaslam Wrestling's Saturday show at the King's Hall in his hometown of Stoke, joining Team Megaslam in the Main Event Megaslam Rumble.

Megaslam Wrestling wrote on their Facebook page: "EDDIE HALL = TEAM MEGASLAM!
"It has just been confirmed that Eddie Hall – The Beast will make his Megaslam debut tonight at the Kings Hall in his hometown of Stoke On Trent!
"The Beast will be representing Team Megaslam in the Main Event Megaslam Rumble!"
One fan later said of his performance: "Was a great night of entertainment, kids loved it. When Eddie Hall came on they were ecstatic…"

A second added: "Fantastic! Nice surprise seeing Eddie too! Definitely will come again. Kids and myself loved it."
Hall had previously told Sport360 of his WWE talks: "We've been approached by them and it’s something we’ll look at but I’m doing so well with all the appearances, endorsements and all the potential TV work coming my way so I’m just biding my time.
"Me and my manager are just going to pick the best option and go from there.”
Among his other plans, Hall announced on Instagram earlier this year that he is planning a move into bodybuilding, with aims to compete late next year.
He said: "I've done the strongman, done a bit of boxing, I was a national champion swimmer back in the day, I think bodybuilding is a great transfer over from strongman."
Hall now runs a popular YouTube account and shifted weight from 430 to 360lbs when training for his boxing debut, which ended in defeat.
