Derek Anderson wants Michael Page rematch after having nose brutally caved in

Derek Anderson has called for a rematch with Michael 'Venom' Page after suffering a gruesome broken nose in his defeat at Bellator 258.

The 31-year-old was handed the fourth defeat of his MMA career against Page, who now holds the record for the most knockouts in Bellator history (10).

Anderson was pulled out of the contest by the doctor inside the opening round after shipping a fierce kick to the face which completely caved in his nose.

He was left with one of the most brutal broken noses ever seen in the sport – but Anderson is adamant that it shouldn't have been stopped.

'The Barbaric' uploaded a clip of the kick on Instagram and wrote: "Just a broken nose, not a knock out. Without stoppage; second round woulda been way different.

"Developed some bad habits in a bad camp and was happy to even make it to the fight after my health issues so I fought my fight my way cause I was having a blast and happy to be there. I’m a rockm’ sockm’ robot.

"Was getting my ass kicked and started making adjustments but only got the one round. 1st is never my best.

"Let’s get a second @michaelvenompage great kick but you know I was powering up, they shoulda let us get a bloody war. All respect but let’s finish what we started.

"Wanted to make this fight happen for me and for @bellatormma once and for all but definitely coulda been better circumstances as well as actually get to fight.
