Cricket fan storms pitch and collides into England batsman Jonny Bairstow

England batsman Jonny Bairstow was left furious after a pitch invader collided into the cricket star at the Oval.

A supporter known as Jarvo 69 interrupted England's Test series with India for the third time as the two sides battled it out in the fourth Test.

He sprinted on to the pitch and bowled a ball before colliding with Bairstow who was out in the middle for the Three Lions.

Bairstow shrugged the invader off though looked furious at the breach of security with staff soon rushing onto the pitch.

He was escorted out with fans being quick to urge the ECB to ban the fan from all cricket grounds.

The invader, real name Daniel Jarvis, had invaded the pitch wearing pads, helmet and a bat during the previous Test at Headingley.

England's series with India was 1-1 heading to the Oval with home skipper Joe Root saying: "[India] are a world-class side led by Virat [Kohli]. I expect nothing less than a response. We'd be naive to think otherwise.

"That's why it's really important we don't get too comfortable, that we don't think we've achieved anything to this point.

"We've just got ourselves back to level playing. We have to now look to work even harder, and if we find ourselves ahead of the game we get ruthless again and really drive that winning position home.

"As a team, one thing we took away from [Lord's] is we have to be the best version of our team. We do things our way, we don't get sucked in to playing anyone else's game and we go about things in our own manner.

"We did that in a perfect response at Headingley, and it's really important we remember that. That's when we play our best cricket."
