Boris Becker still banned from Wimbledon despite being world No6’s coach
Boris Becker will reportedly remain banned from next year's Wimbledon despite coaching Holger Rune, the current world No.6.
Becker was jailed for two-and-a-half years in April 2022, after he was found guilty of hiding £2.5million in assets and loans to avoid paying debts. However, Becker was released early after serving just eight months of his sentence.
As part of the deal for his early release, Becker is currently banned from entering the UK. This means the tennis megastar won't be able to coach Rune at Wimbledon next summer and during the 2025 edition, according to the Standard.

Becker announced his return to tennis on Thursday as coach of the world No.6. He said on the Eurosport Germany's podcast: "I can confirm that I am Holger Rune's coach.
"It makes me a little proud that he asked me. The contact has existed for a long time. Now it was a very good fit. My calendar allows it and I have always been interested in Holger because he is on the tennis court with so much commitment and temperament."

Becker coached Novak Djokovic for three years between 2013 and 2016, and he's now linked up with young Dane – who is one of the hottest young talents on the circuit.
Becker will join Rune for next week's tournament Swiss Indoors Basel, with their goal ensuring he qualifies for the ATP Finals in Turin next month.
The German added: "Holger is a rough diamond that needs polishing," said Becker. "I like his emotional outbursts. I have coached a player before, Novak Djokovic, who was sometimes not quite himself on the court, but that is allowed."
