Arsenal fans fume as Stan Kroenke lifts Super Bowl trophy following LA Rams win
Arsenal supporters are furious after watching owner Stan Kroenke lift the Vince Lombardi trophy following the LA Rams' victory at Super Bowl LVI.
The 74-year-old proudly took to the field to join the Rams' celebrations and dedicated the famous win to the "great fans of Los Angeles".
"Amazing, and just really proud of this group," Kroenke said. "So happy for them, and then you talk about these players.
"They’re unbelievable, and this just hung in there. It was a tough game and I’m just so proud of them executing like they did."
Arsenal fans, who have been critical of Kroenke's somewhat indifferent ownership, raged on social media as they questioned why the American tycoon doesn't show them the same amount of love as he does the Rams.
"The Rams are the only team he cares about. Smh," one Gunners fan tweeted.
"Don’t be fooled Arsenal fans, after this super bowl win Kroenke still has the NBA championship to focus on with the Nuggets before us," posted another.
A third wrote: "A team owned by Stan Kroenke has won a major trophy…of course it's not Arsenal."
A dramatic touchdown from MVP Cooper Kupp sealed a tense victory for the Rams in the dying minutes after the Bengals had come from behind to lead earlier on.

The Rams ultimately held their nerve to beat the Bengals 23-20 and clinch their second NFL title.
And the Rams became only the second team to win a Super Bowl in their own stadium – the SoFi Stadium – after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers achieved the feat just last year.
Kroenke became full owner of the Rams – who were then based in St Louis, Missouri – back in 2010 before relocating them to Los Angeles in 2016.
He built the state-of-the-art SoFi Stadium, which cost over $5billion and is the most expensive sports venue ever built – which was coincidentally the venue for the Rams' victory last night.
