Alex Jones choked unconscious by Jiu-Jitsu champion live on podcast
Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones was choked into unconsciousness by a Jiu-Jitstu champion during a guest appearance on the “El Segundo Podcast”. Two-time ADCC Submission World Championship Jiu-Jitstu silver medalist Craig Jones, who hosts the show, put the 49-year-old “InfoWars” host in rear-naked choke-hold, causing him to black out and froth at the mouth.
The unusual request isn’t the first time Jones has asked to be made unconscious while appearing on a podcast. Back in 2019, Jones revealed that he always wanted to be choked out by a martial arts world champion on an episode of the “Joe Rogan Experience” podcast.
The show featured a guest appearance from MMA instructor Eddie Bravo, who refused the request. But this time the challenger was happy to oblige.
“Eddie Bravo wouldn’t do it, come choke me out,” Jones said in a video uploaded to Instagram. “Come on, come do it. Wide shot. Here we go. I’m a lights-out. Take a little snoozy.”

The Jiu-Jitstu champion is seen walking across to his guest before placing Jones in a rear-naked choke-hold. His eyes can be seen rolling back before falling unconscious and then coming quickly coming back around.
“What was I just doing? Did I actually pass out? Huh? I did pass out? Did you really do it? What was I like when I came back?”
It comes as no surprise that Craig Jones was able to execute the move, despite his opponents’ size, having trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitstu since 2016. The Adelaide-born fighter honed his craft at his cousin’s academy before going on to earn several world championships.

Among his accolades are becoming the IBJJF world No-Gi Brazilian jiu-jitsu champion as a purple belt, being named the two-time ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championship silver medallist and becoming the three-time Polaris Pro Grappling champion.
The incident is the latest in a series of controversies surrounding Alex Jones. The American is most commonly known for calling the 2012 Sandy Hook elementary school shooting a “hoax”.
He was ordered to pay $1.5 billion (£1.23 billion) in judgments against him in a series of civil defamation trials to which he claimed that he can’t afford to pay. Contrary to his claims, court records revealed he spent $93,000 (£76,200) in July, without any money going towards the victims’ families. Jones has continued to protest his innocence.
