Abiodun Adegoke could become the tallest ever competitor in the NBA after the aspiring 7ft 9in tall basketball player went viral.
The Nigerian centre has become one of the most discussed topics in basketball after a video of Adegoke started popping off on social media.
The clip shows the teenager working in the gym with coaches in Dubai during a youth talent development camp, where he has been playing recently.
The video shows Adegoke, who at the whopping height of 236cm can dunk with both feet still on the ground, moving with incredible agility and showing close control while dribbling.
The clip was shared by four-time NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal, who played at centre his entire career and used his 7ft 1in frame to devastating effect.
But there could be a new kid on the block in Adegoke, who already stands seven inches taller than anyone else to grace the biggest stage in basketball.
Known as ‘bignaija’ on Instagram, Adegoke has already accumulated in excess of 41k followers after going viral.
The 18-year-old is currently training with the MPAC Sports UAE system as he weighs up where his future could take him.
But Adegoke will surely be hoping to become a record-breaker in the NBA.
Yao Ming and Manute Bol currently share the record for the tallest player the NBA has ever seen at 7ft 5in, or 2.29m.

Adegoke has so far been overlooked by scouts from the States, and controversy around his age might be a factor in that.
Back in 2016, a report from Nigeria claimed Adegoke was already 17-years-old, and that he was a student of a sports high school academy in Lagos.
Of course, Adegoke insists that he is indeed still 18.
