‘Just such a good human being, such a regular guy and you couldn’t ask for more from any of your champions.’

After following up the initial defeat by Miocic in January 2018 with a dreadfully trigger-shy loss by Derrick Lewis, Ngannou went on the rampage, winning his next four fights by first-round KO.
Despite Ngannou’s imperious form, Miocic insists he is looking to ‘extinguish’ his rival again having won the first fight via a unanimous decision.
‘Nothing has changed, he has shown promise, he has gotten better, he has great coaches and team-mates,’ Miocic said at the UFC 260 press conference on Friday.
‘He has evolved you can tell, but I’m here to extinguish him again.
‘Francis has gotten a lot better since the first fight with me, but styles make matchup, and unfortunately, the style I have is not good for him,’ Miocic added. ‘I’m walking out And Still.’
