Darren Till’s UFC return against Marvin Vettori confirmed for 10 April
Darren Till will make his UFC return on 10 April as he headlines a Fight Night event against Marvin Vettori.
Liverpudlian Till (18-3-1) last competed in July, when he suffered a unanimous decision defeat by former middleweight champion Robert Whittaker on ‘Fight Island’ in Abu Dhabi.
That bout marked Till’s second outing at 185lbs, following the former welterweight title challenger’s successful debut in the division against Kelvin Gastelum.

Till, 28, outpointed Gastelum in November 2019 after losing his last two bouts at 170lbs – his title shot against then-champion Tyron Woodley ending in defeat via submission before Jorge Masvidal knocked out the Scouser in London.
Italy’s Vettori (16-4-1) is on a four-fight win streak, meanwhile, with his last loss coming at the hands of current middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.
Vettori beat ‘The Last Stylebender’ on one of the three judges’ scorecards, and the 27-year-old has since called for a rematch with Adesanya, who came up short in his quest to become a dual-weight champion last weekend.

Adesanya lost via unanimous decision in his attempt to dethrone light heavyweight titleholder Jan Blachowicz, but said before the contest that a return to middleweight would follow in any case.
Till is ranked fourth in the UFC’s middleweight division, while Vettori is fifth in the rankings.
A venue for the 10 April card is yet to be confirmed, though a number of bouts have been announced.
The event will see multiple Brits in action as England’s Arnold Allen (16-1) meets fellow prospect Sodiq Yusuff (11-1) at featherweight, while Welshman Jack Shore (13-0) takes on Hunter Azure (9-1).
Elsewhere, Mike Perry (14-7) faces Daniel Rodriguez (13-2), while veteran Jim Miller (32-15, 1 no contest) fights Joe Solecki (10-2). Kyle Daukaus (10-1) will also feature on the card, taking on Aliaskhab Khizriev (13-0).
