WATCH: Marlins’ Jesus Sanchez crushes 496-foot homer off Rockies’ Ryan Feltner into Coors Field party deck – The Denver Post

Marlins’ Jesus Sanchez hit just four home runs this season entering Monday’s game against the Rockies. His fifth is one he won’t forget any time soon.

The Miami outfielder crushed a 496-foot shot off Colorado starter Ryan Feltner in the second inning that rocketed into the third deck in right field where Coors Field’s party deck is located.

The solo homer gave Miami a 1-0 lead.

It’s the longest homer in the majors this year, according to MLB Statcast, and tied for the second longest home run at Coors Field with Dodgers catcher Mike Piazza in 1997.

Former Marlins outfielder Giancarlo Stanton has the Coors Field mark with a 504-foot shot off Chad Bettis on Aug. 6, 2016.
