Wet weather forces Stewards to move Rosehill trials to Thursday
The spring preparation of The Everest favourite Nature Strip and several other spring contenders met a slight hiccup when Tuesday’s Rosehill trials needed to be postponed due to wet weather.
Racing NSW Stewards made the decision early in the morning to pull the pin and shift the heats to Thursday with heavy rain falling across Sydney expected to hang around for the majority of the day.
The forecast in Sydney improves on Wednesday with only light rain predicted for the remainder of the week, which should allow trials to go ahead 48 hours later.
Nature Strip had been due to trial in the second heat of the morning over 900m alongside Group 1 winner September Run as well as spring contenders Madam Rouge and Subpoenaed.

Gerald Ryan and Sterling Alexiou had Standout and the talented filly Joyous Legend among their triallists.
