TAB punters get early payout on Jamie Kah’s historic Melbourne jockeys’ premiership win
The sharp punter that got $51 about Jamie Kah winning this season’s Melbourne jockeys’ title can collect the profits a couple of weeks early.
Kah took her premiership lead to 38 after a winning double that took her past 100 wins for the season at Caulfield last Saturday.
With only five city meetings left in the season, TAB has decided to pay out the winning bets on Kah winning the crown early.
“Those who were smart enough to find her shouldn’t have to wait until the end of the season to collect their winnings,” TAB’s Brad Bishop said.
One punter had $50 on Kah winning the premiership at $51 on the opening day of the season while another collected $815 after backing the jockey at $10 last August.

TAB reported the biggest bet on Kah was $2700 at $2.80 on October 28 last year.
Kah is an odds-on chance with the betting giant to repeat her premiership success next season.
TAB posted her at $1.80 in its opening market on the 2021/22 Melbourne jockeys’ premiership.
Damian Lane and Craig Williams share the next line of betting at $6 with Ben Melham and Damien Oliver at $10.
Melbourne Cup-winning rider Jye McNeil is a $26 chance to become next season’s premier jockey.
