Ruby Walsh has revealed how Mr Incredible ‘has his own way of doing things’, claiming the seven-year-old ‘doesn’t comply with anything anyone wants him to do’.
The 2023 Grand National will take place at 5.15pm on Saturday and Mr Incredible will be looking to take part in his third start since leaving Henry de Bromhead.
Mr Incredible will be running for Willie Mullins – who has several other horses in the race, including Grade One-winning novices Capodanno and Gaillard Du Mesnil.
Speaking to Paddy Power about Mr Incredible, Walsh said: ‘Mr Incredible has his own way of doing things. Lives his own life. He has his own training regime.
‘He doesn’t comply with anything anyone wants him to do. Brian Hayes rides him. I’m not sure if his run is good enough though to tell you the truth.’

Mr Incredible will be running for legendary trainer Willie Mullins – who has several other horses in the race, including Grade One-winning novices Capodanno and Gaillard Du Mesnil.
Meanwhile, Rory Delargy has named Capodanno (above) as a potential contender for the Grand National title at Aintree this year
However, Hayes is convinced Mr Incredible’s performance in the Wigley Group Classic Handicap Chase at Warwick proves he is capable of Grand National glory.
Speaking after the race in Warwick, Hayes said: ‘It was a cracking run. He really warmed up into it. He was a bit slow away and I took the time with him then as was the plan and I was pulling a roller coming down the hill.
‘He finished really well. He just missed the second-last and got under the last a little bit, which slowed him down a little bit but the way he finished you would like to think he would be a good horse who will run well in the Grand National anyway.
‘I would say the Grand National will be the number one target after that run.’
Meanwhile, Rory Delargy has named Capodanno as a potential contender for the Grand National title at Aintree this year.
Delargy told Paddy Power: He [Capodanno] doesn’t have the experience. He doesn’t have the old profile.
‘It’s clearly a bit of a question mark him winning this on just his second start this season with Willie Mullins and Danny Mullins. Never say never.’
