One lucky punter scooped the £100,000 jackpot of the free ITV7 game on the first day of the Cheltenham Festival.
The horse racing fan correctly predicted five winners at Cheltenham and two at Sedgefield on Tuesday.
Over 85,000 people correctly predicted the winner of the first race, Marine Nationale in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle.
But the numbers quickly dropped as Marine Nationale, Forcing Bull, El Fabiolo. Templier, Corach Rambler came home.
And there was just one person left after Constitution Hill had romped to victory in the Champion Hurdle.
Honeysuckle’s emotional victory sealed a £100,000 windfall for one lucky punter
It was Honeysuckle or bust in the Mares’ Hurdle and Rachael Blackmore sealed the deal by guiding the 2021 and 2022 champion hurdler to an emotional victory in her final race before being put out to stud.
Honeysuckle was roared into a packed enclosure as her trainer Henry de Bromhead celebrated his first winner of the Festival.
‘It’s the fairytale ending that doesn’t normally happen,’ De Bromead told BBC.
‘I am so happy for everyone. You dream of it but this is what she deserves. She is an unbelievable mare. She is so special.
‘I think we have had a terrible year with Jack but the support everyone has given us we are really grateful for that.’
