Grand National 2021 date, tips, runners, TV channel and more
The most famous horse race in the world is right around the corner – and for the sport's top chasers, it is all about the Grand National.
Over the course of four and a half miles, it is the best-known steeplechase in the world in which 40 runners tackle Aintree's 30 spruce fences.
Twelve months ago, Tiger Roll was due to attempt a historic third win in the race in succession, but the event was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
A Virtual Grand National based on computer simulations was run instead, with Potters Corner emerging as the winner.
This year, however, the world's greatest steeplechase is back and excitement is building at Mirror Racing.

Grand National tips
Cloth Cap is the big favourite – but the one to look out for is Minella Times .
Now 12-1 having been 40-1 in places – bookies must fear more Rachael Blackmore and Henry de Bromhead success at Aintree after a fine winning display at Cheltenham.
In just the last week, de Bromhead has stated that Minella Times is perfect for the Grand National, despite Cloth Cap being two stone well in.
In terms of his running ability, the JP McManus-owned eight-year-old has the ability to travel through his races with ease and can be expected to at least hit the frame with a clear run round.
What channel is the Grand National on?
