Four Moves Ahead eyes Slipper berth this Saturday
Trainer John Sargent knows there will be nowhere to hide from here on in for his unbeaten filly Four Moves Ahead as she looks to take a giant step towards a Golden Slipper berth at Rosehill this Saturday.
Four Moves Ahead will provide the headline act for Sargent’s team when the classy daughter of Snitzel lines up in the Group 2 Silver Slipper Stakes.
She is one of 14 horses entered for the two-year-old feature and while nominations have been extended until Tuesday morning, TAB.com.au installed Four Moves Ahead as the horse to beat at $4.50 in ‘all in’ betting on Monday.

It comes after the filly announced herself as an early Slipper contender when scoring in her only race start at Randwick on January 2.
She has been given a freshen up by Sargent to target Saturday’s Group 2.
“She is going to be running into the good ones now so she is going to have to front up,” Sargent said.
“We are happy with her and it will give us a line for the Slipper because things are only going to get tougher after Saturday.
“It‘s very important because there is black type on the line for her as well and that could make her a very expensive filly.”
Four Moves Ahead will be ridden by Tim Clark on Saturday with the pair combining in a trial at Rosehill last week.
Clark led the field up in the 900m trial hit out before Four Moves Ahead was able to hold off all challengers to prevail in the heat.

“We gave her a nice hit out the other day and that should have brought her on a lot,” Sargent said.
“Tim (Clark) had a sit on her on that morning and was happy with her as well.”
“She will have her final gallop on Tuesday morning which should have her perfect for Saturday
Four Moves Ahead is at $17 in Golden Slipper betting.
Sargent also has three-year-old Easy Campese nominated for the Group 2 Hobartville Stakes (1400m).
Bookies rate Easy Campese as a $101 outsider in the pre-field markets however Sargent believes he can run well above that price tag and should improve from a first-up fourth at Canterbury late last month.
“He blew out but needed that run and should improve on Saturday,” he said.
“His form is better than it reads and he should give a good account of himself.”
Regan Bayliss has been booked to ride Easy Campese.
