Cheltenham Festival 2021 Wednesday results in full
The 2021 Cheltenham Festival is finally underway!
In a normal year, onlookers would see a racecourse packed with 65,000 people, having a day out at the top-class sporting event.
But this year, due to COVID-19, there will be no general admission and the numbers of people on-course from March 16-19 will be strictly limited.
Nonetheless, this year's opening day got off to a thrilling start as Willie Mullins' Appreciate It put in a stunning performance to win the Supreme Novices' Hurdle.
Meanwhile, Rachael Blackmore's stunning victory on Honeysuckle in the Unibet Champion Hurdle Challenge Trophy was the undisputed highlight of a strange day at an eerily quiet Cheltenham.
Here are the races you'll be able to enjoy on day one of this year's festival and the latest results as soon as they've crossed the line.
