Golf glamor girl Paige Spiranac has revealed that she receives ‘gross’ comments every time she is pictured with male athletes or celebrities.
The 29-year-old has taken the sport by storm, posting glamorous photos on the golf course in tiny, tight-fit skirts and low-cut tops and has racked up 3.7 million Instagram followers, earning herself the title of ‘world’s sexiest woman’.
However, the influencer has revealed that her rapid rise to fame in golf has come with a price.
The former professional said she would be ‘so down’ to play a match with Tiger Woods or Tom Brady in an Instagram Q&A on Monday but revealed she had guard herself from the rumor mill.
She claimed that ‘disgusting sexual’ rumors spread every time she works with a man, making her feel that she cannot participate in certain events.

But she has been made to feel that she cannot participate in certain events due to comments
‘One thing people don’t talk about with being a woman in a male-dominated industry, whether it’s golf or the sports industry, is that any time I do content with another man there are rumors and comments, and it’s all disgusting sexual stuff,’ Spiranac said in an Instagram Q&A on Monday, via The New York Post.
‘And so I feel like it prohibits me from participating or being invited to certain events when there are male athletes and male celebrities because of the rumor mill and all of this stuff.
‘It’s just so unfair, and any time I’m pictured with another man … the comments are just gross. It’s really frustrating because I don’t feel like I get to interact with people normally. … I don’t want to start any of those rumors for myself or for them. I just wish people could be normal and realize that here could just be a male-female working relationship with nothing else going on.’
The blonde beauty doesn’t shy away from the fact her platform garners controversy and has regularly tackled trolls on social media.
Spiranac added that ‘no matter what I do, people are going to criticize it,’ so she’s tried to block out the haters as best as possible.
‘I don’t care what people think about me anymore. Are they going to take me seriously? No. They never did, and who cares if they do now,’ she added.
Spiranac has previously recognized that her target audience predominantly consists of men.
After she topped the male-dominated list of which golfers had the most followers on Instagram, Spiranac responded: ‘This just in. Men like golf and boobs.’
However, the Colorado-native has admitted that there are downsides to her popularity.

Spiranac married athletic trainer Steven Tinoco in 2018 but the couple are now divorced
She has had to warn her fans of fake copycat accounts posing as her to steal money from them, claiming she has to ‘report at least 20 fake accounts every single day.’
She previously said she felt traumatized after a ‘Karen’ verbally insulted her over her outfit while she was on the course. The ex-professional said she was left physically shaken after being singled out by an elderly lady at a country club who thought Spiranac was wearing an inappropriate outfit.
She was also attacked by vile trolls who called her ‘fat’ and ‘ugly’ after being named Maxim’s sexiest woman.
She claimed that while at university, she was stalked by a group of girls and was forced to delete her Instagram and change her name, which is why she now goes by Paige Renee on the platform.
She married personal trainer Steven Tinoco in 2018. The blonde beauty revealed that he had been supportive of her social media endeavors, even encouraging her to ‘show a little more cleavage.’
But in June 2022, she revealed she had secretly split from Tinoco. Although it is unclear exactly when the former couple parted, Spiranac said during a Q&A round on her podcast that she wasn’t married ‘for very long.’
Freshly single, forming a golf power couple with Woods could be on the cards. The betting odds of that come in at +25000, according to TMZ, after Woods split from ex-girlfriend of six years Erica Herman, who is suing him over an NDA she claims she was forced to sign.
