Brooks Koepka has expertly poured fuel on the flames of his feud with Bryson DeChambeau after capitalising on the recent fury of his rival during the Memorial Tournament.
DeChambeau is said to have asked stewards at the event to eject any fans who shouted ‘let’s go Brooksy’ following his shots.
Footage from the event had appeared to capture some incidents where boisterous fans had been asked to leave, and now Koepka has seized the moment to stir the pot and escalate the rivalry.

Uploading a video to social media, Koepka told his fans: ‘What’s up guys, it’s Brooksy, I just wanted to say hey and thank you for the support.
‘I heard a bunch of you guys were shouting my name at the golf tournament today. I know I’m not playing but thank you guys for showing support.
‘And if your time was, I don’t know, say cut short at the golf tournament today, dm [direct message] Michelob Ultra because we’re going to be giving out 50 cases of beer to the first 50 people.

‘In case your time was cut short or had any trouble at the tournament, but just as a thank you for showing support – appreciated it.’
The tensions between the two US golf stars recently flared when DeChambeau angered Koepka by walking past him during a live interview.
Koepka’s anger was immediately captured on camera and his sullen response quickly became a viral hit across the internet.
Since, the pair have exchanged messages on social media and fellow golfers have also got involved, eager to fan the flames.
DeChambeau had tweeted Koepka to say that he was ‘living in your head rent free.’
Koepka however responded with an old video of a golf tournament in which an irate DeChambeau was recorded saying ‘anybody calling me Brooksy needs to get out.’

Now, Koepka’s flagging of that video looks to have set off a reaction of fans baiting DeChambeau once again, and calling him ‘Brooksy’ at any available opportunity out on the course.
On Saturday, DeChambeau found himself at even par at the Memorial tournament, some five shots off the lead.
Both Koepka and DeChambeau are major-winning golfers, though Koepka has enjoyed much greater success in recent years.
To date, DeChambeau – who at 27 is just over three years younger than Koepka – has just one US Open title to his name.
Koepka, meanwhile, has won two US Opens and two PGA Championship titles.
