Brooks Koepka trolls Bryson DeChambeau after driver comments: ‘I love my driver’
There’s a drive into deep left field, and Brooks Koepka makes it a 4-0 ballgame.
The Brooks Koepka-Bryson DeChambeau feud is largely petty and pretty funny, with the two golfers sharing a very healthy dislike of one another. There’s enough beef to feed a small village between them.
DeChambeau recently took to an interview to complain about the quality of his driver after the first round of the British Open, with a representative from his club manufacturer calling his tirade something that an “8-year-old” would do.
Koepka, once again, took this opportunity to tweak DeChambeau, delivering a straight-faced comedic jab Friday.
“I hit the ball great, I love my driver,” Koepka said, with a small, mischievous smirk. (What a poker face.)
Koepka, though, didn’t stop there: He took to Twitter to throw another quick-hitter in DeChambeau’s direction.
“Driving into the weekend!” Koepka’s tweet reads. Another wonderful moment of snark.
DeChambeau would later apologize for his “unprofessional” comments surrounding his driver.
Golf scores rise and fall, but hopefully this pettiness lasts forever.
